Summer Reading

CSLP_Children_Slogan_English_Horizontal - Copy

Participate in our reading program, earn incentives, and discover great books.

Designed to engage all ages in exploring new ideas, books, and activities, we offer tailored challenges for adults, teens, and kids. Best of all - the program is totally free! As you read books and complete the activities, you are eligible to win badges, coupon bundles, and raffle tickets to use towards prizes. Program begins June 7 and ends August 17, 2024.

We’ve Gone Virtual

To get started we recommend that you create a Beanstack account. Parents can also create accounts for their children. In Beanstack, you can view the available activities, enter the books you have read, write book reviews and more. The Beanstack app is available for iOS and Android.

To register, visit the Beanstack website or login through the app. Beanstack will automatically direct you to the appropriate activities based on your age. Include an email address or telephone number as part of your profile so we can contact you if you win a prize.

Track Offline

Prefer to track offline, or don't have a computer or smartphone? You can still participate! Paper logs are available beginning June 7 at the reference desk. Make sure you return your booklet by 5:00 PM on Saturday August 17 to be included in the prize drawings.

Prizes

As you log reading time and complete activities, you earn raffle tickets you can use towards our prize drawings at the end of summer. Tickets must be assigned to be included in the prize drawing. Any unassigned tickets will disappear after the program ends.

This year, most of our prizes have been purchased by the Friends of the Muskego Library from businesses who have partnered or supported the library in that past.

Programs

We will be offering a variety of outdoor, and indoor events this year. Visit our events calendar for more information on when and where you can attend!
